Urbanist in training is the blog of Janice Lo.  She was born and raised in Hong Kong since 2nd May 1986.  Janice is currently undertaking her third year of urban planning and development at the University of Melbourne and currently on exchange at Lunds Universitet, majoring urban design and travelling.

  • If you are interested in my music taste, this is my last.fm account.
  • As an oboe player, I weirdly am not too into baroque stuff (and by baroque, I mean baroque and EARLY baroque). Maybe I am too frightened by the duomelody of baroque pieces when I played the piano.
  • I keep all my bookmarks at my del.icio.us account, I genuinely think it is one of the best web 2.0 invention.
  • I don’t like to read critics before I go to see a movie. Sometimes it’s even greater if I don’t read the introduction or watch the trailer before you go to the movie. Follow your instinct, it will make you think more on your own.
  • I love using OSX more than Windows XP by infinite times.
  • I whole-heartedly support open sourse software.
  • My most favourite higlighter in the world is Sanford’s Major Accent/Sharpie Accent in LEMON yellow.
