Song of the Week #2

Love will come through - Travis

If I told you a secret
You won’t tell a soul
Will you hold it and keep it alive
Cause it’s burning a hole
And I can’t get to sleep
And I can’t live alone in this lie

So look up
Take it away
Don’t look da-da-da- down the mountain

If the world isn’t turning
Your heart won’t return
Anyone, anything, anyhow

So take me don’t leave me
Take me don’t leave me
Baby, love will come through it’s just waiting for you

Well I stand at the crossroads
Of highroads and lowroads
And I got a feeling it’s right

If it’s real what I’m feeling
There’s no makebelieving
The sound of the wings of the flight of a dove

Take it away
Don’t look da-da-da down the mountain
If the world isn’t turning
Your heart won’t return anyone anything anyhow…

So take me don’t leave me
Take me don’t leave me
Baby, love will come through it’s just waiting for you

So look up
Take it away
Don’t look da-da-da- down

If the world isn’t turning
Your heart won’t return anyone anything anyhow…

So take me don’t leave me
Take me don’t leave me
Baby, love will come through it’s just waiting for you

Love will come through
Love will come through
Love will come through

Leaving Lund

‘Leaving Lund’ probably are the two heaviest words that I have ever typed since I have arrived here. It consisted of heavy-lifting my luggage and literally, garbage on the hottest day although Peter actually was the one who did the most. Thanks man.

We all met at Lundagard to have my last picnic and lunch in Lund. I was glad that the good-bye atmosphere wasn’t really strong or else I don’t think I could handle it well. We shared food, drinks and laughter. We had good time with each others company just as last 10 months although with Kaho’s absence.

One and a half hour later, thanks to everyone’s effort to make sure I got on the train in time, we found ourselves on the platform 2 of Lund station. I was standing in the last coach of the 12.59 train, facing my most favourite people in the world, completely floored and overwhelmed. I wasn’t able to cry at all because I couldn’t cry in front of my most favourite people and yet, I so wanted to cry for leaving them.

How are you guys?

The end of May ended with food

I thought I wasn’t going to the barbeque late at night since I still hadn’t finished my travelling plans in June and there were way too many parties in Delphi to be attended.  I thought it only would be fair if I attended none but since my batteries were still in Giselle’s hand, I had to pay them a visit and I went home late with a surprisingly full stomach…

Many thanks and kudos go to Giselle’s mom who prepared the food for barbeque and red bean soup!  And the red bean soup was very tasty and actually ’sandy’, unlike our previous countless failures.  To top that, there were even the choices of serving cold or hot… and with or without ice cream!  Auntie claimed that there is no skills or secret to good red bean soup, she just chuck everything in the pot and let it cooked for an hour and things will turn out right automatically however, she made a note that the red beans were brought all the way from Hong Kong instead of being bought in Malmö…  I think Kaho would be pissed if he learnt the fact that he had done nothing wrong since he had spent the whole night cooking the red bean soup before his birthday and had to attempt to make it more ’sandy’ manually and still ended up failing it.

We lounge around a bit more and Brian performed his famous tricks before we go home at one.  And I dropped out of the plan of going to watch sun rise at St. Hans Bäcker because I still had piles of crap needed to be packed.

God, how is it already June and that I am leaving Sweden tomorrow??!?!
