It’s my FIRST TRIAL and I swear this is the best I have ever had – most probably because it’s served fresh from the oven and all the sweats and effort… (No, this muffin is made in an absolutely hygienic kitchen.)
I used Elise’s blueberry muffin recipe with some minor modifications including:
switching from 3 cups of all-purpose flour to 1 1/3 cup of plain flour and 1 2/3 cup whole wheat flour
salted butter instead of unsalted butter (I didn’t realise that this recipe call for unsalted butter until this morning…)
and of course I left out the salt in the recipe because I used salted butter
3 teaspoon of lime peel instead of one teaspoon of lemon peel
3/4 cup of brown sugar instead of 1 cup of sugar
2 heaped tablespoon of phylum husk was added
I didn’t use any baking soda, but 1 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder is used instead of just one 1 tablespoon to compensate the use of whole wheat flour and negligence of baking soda
Off to have one more muffin!
