R.I.P. Star Ferry Pier Clock Tower
Via the Facebook group, I heard that the demolition of the Clock Tower of Central’s Star Ferry Pier has finally begun.
Now I wish Green ban could repeat in Hong Kong, only if Hong Kong has a labourer union large enough to fight any entrepreneur in Hong Kong. God bless all the worker’s unions all over the world.
We may have to accept the fate. But we should be never appeased with the current heritage protection in Hong Kong, which is second to non-existent.
