iPod G5 - I don’t want you… yet

okay, i don’t know what has just happened. after i have installed the software updates today, my iPod G4 is screwed - NOT a good sign at all - I heard scatching sounds coming from my iPod…
G5 is tempting, but I’ve only bought my G4 for a year, and I am still loving it… So now I have put my iPod into the freezer (my father told me it heals his hdd before… so if my iPod is going to die, why not give it a try?) Fingers cross that it’s going to work!!! I am not ready to contribute $299 to Apple again, yet!
