Apple iTunes 6 is released

Apple has just released iTunes 6.

Yep, you didn’t hear me wrong, APPLE HAS RELEASED ANOTHER VERSION OF iTUNES WITHIN WELL, 35 DAYS?

Are you freaking kidding me? NOPE.

Yeh, as far as all of us concern, this update is much of a cause and effect product of the release of the new video iPod, as much as I’d love a video iPod, I really think Apple could concentrate their breaking news a bit so as to save us, people who did not get iPod nano, or the new video iPod, from all those updating hassels it has released in the past month.  It is getting freaking annoying.

Okay, time for reviewing.

So, I am loving those video Podcast.  But there are not too many.  I have downloded the TikiBar - because it’s the first one that comes up from the ITMS and it sounds funny - talking about cocktails, and it’s really good fun.  Well, it maybe low at some point, but at least it made me laughed my heads off.  I am looking forward to more video Podcast in the future, but I just hope that I could get rid of the download-counting internet system of Australia, or else I would never be able to enjoy them freely.

So, other than the video… there weren’t many significant improvement anyways.  yet i still have like thousands of bones to pick with Apple.  First one from the top of my head, I need the bloody PLAYLIST function for Quicktime, why wouldn’t Apple make a build in playlist function but let a third party take that money all away from it?

ok, am done with iTunes, let’s move on to the new video iPod.

IT LOOKS FABULOUS, well, slightly wider than I wish.  but i guess if it’s really thinner than what i have got right now (4G 20GB) then I have nothing to complain (it’s not like i am not satisfy with the size of the iPod I have right now, but I just think it’s okay to trade off the video technology withe the size, at least to a certain extent).

What I am truly disappointed with the new vide iPod is Apple has taken firewire completely away from iPod - now, none of the new iPods support the connectivity of firewire anymore.  I am a firewire fan - they are faster and more stable.  Especially when you need to fill up your iPod with 60GB of data, firewire does make a difference!
